The Turbeville Minors All-Star 10-and-under baseball team was knocked out of the double elimination District 9 Championship Tournament on July 2 in Providence.

 

The Turbeville AA Coach Pitch All-Star 7- and 8-year-olds’ baseball team are 2-0 in the state championship that began on July 7 in Lexington by defeating Edgefield, 12-3.

 

Two huge innings, one by Hartsville early and the other by Manning-Santee late, provided most of the action in Post 68’s come from behind win over Post 53 on July 2 in Manning, 12-8.

 

Manning-Santee put two more notches in the victory column on June 25 with a pair of come from behind wins over South Florence.

 

Manning-Santee’s pitching and hitting came together to lead off the week with a win against Darlington on June 25, in Darlington, 11-3.

 

The Turbeville AA Coach Pitch All Star 7 to 8 year olds’ baseball team won the District 9 Championship in Sumter on June 29. 

 

The Turbeville Dixie Minors 10 and under baseball team won their first game in the District 9 Championship tournament on June 29, in Providence against Clarendon County, 12-0.

 

Camden Post 17 banged out 16 hits in a slugfest over Manning-Santee Juniors on June 22 in Manning, 12-9.

 

Manning-Santee came from behind on June 18, to defeat host Darlington, 10-6.

 

Manning-Santee came from behind to win big over Cheraw on June 12, in game 1 of a doubleheader at home, 13-9.

 

Manning-Santee with two great defensive outings held their opponents scoreless last week upping their season record to 4-2.

 

The Manning-Santee underclassmen continued their winning ways with a pair of convincing victories at Monarch Field last week.

 

Laurence Manning took two playoff games from Lee Academy on May 5, winning the first game 4-2, and a close second game, 10-9.

The Clarendon Hall varsity baseball team lost to Coastal Christian on April 24, at home, 12-2.

East Clarendon lost to Lake View in seven innings on April 26, at home, 2-1.

 

East Clarendon - 11/C.E. Murray - 1

 

East Clarendon Wolverines defeated C.E. Murray War Eagles in four innings on April 17, at home, 11-1.

 

Wilson Hall - 5/LMA - 0

 

Laurence Manning’s Swampcats were held to just three hits against Wilson Hall’s Barons on April 17, in Sumter, 5-0.

 

East Clarendon’s varsity baseball team faced some tough losses at the Mingo Bay Classic Tournament held April 9-13, in Myrtle Beach.

Laurence Manning’s Swampcats demolished Thomas Sumter’s Generals on April 2, at home, 14-6.
