William Fredrick “Fred” Brown II, 57, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at his home in Ft. Myers, Fla.
Born April 19, 1954, in Grove Hill, Ala., he was the son of Betty Burke Brown and the late William Fredrick Brown. He was a graduate of lower Richland High School in Columbia and Tennessee Military Academy, a retired investment agent for Ameritas Investments, and was active in the Catholic Church.
Survivors include his mother of Manning; two sons, Matthew Burke Brown, David Henry Barron Brown, and their mother, Sara Maxwell Brown, all of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Connie Varn (Bill) of Orangeburg, and Amy Dyer (Dave) of Irmo; two brothers, Bob Brown of Manning and Richard Brown of Columbia; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friend, David Henry Barron of Columbia.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
