The football season ended for two of the five Clarendon County teams following the first round of playoff action.
Entering into round two are Clarendon Hall, Manning and Scott’s Branch. All will be on the road.
Clarendon Hall vs. Wardlaw
Clarendon Hall at 10-1 will play the number one team in SCISA 8-man football when the Saints travel to Johnston Friday night to play the Wardlaw Patriots.
In the first round of playoffs, Clarendon Hall won easily over Laurens Academy, 35-6, while Wardlaw pounded James Island Christian, 55-0.
Kick off for Friday night’s game is 7:30 at 1296 Columbia Road, Johnston SC 29832.
Manning vs. Dillon
Manning at 6-5 will travel to Dillon Friday night to take the number 2 team in Class AA Division I football.
Manning won a close game in Cordova Friday night beating Edisto, 8-6, in the first round of the Class AA Division 1 playoffs.
Dillon at 10-8 had a bye in the first round of playoff action.
Dillon is ranked number 8 in state in high school football.

Scott’s Branch vs. Timmonsville
Scott’s Branch at 4-7 on the season will head to Timmonsville Friday night for the second round of playoffs in Lower State Class A Division II action.
Scott’s Branch took its “A” game to Beaufort Friday night in the first round of playoffs and defeated Whale Branch, 60-40.
In the first round of playoff action, Timmonsville, the number 2 seed in the lower state bracket, soundly defeated Bethune-Bowman, 30-8.
This will mark the second time this season that the Eagles square off against the Whirlwinds. On Oct. 14, Scott’s Branch lost to Timmonsville 28-8 at home.
