TaSeana N. Nelson

TaSeana N. Nelson entered into eternal rest on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at Palmetto-Richland Memorial Hospital, Columbia. She was born on Thursday, July 7, 2007, in Clarendon County.

She was a daughter of Tarran “Shay” Lawson and Harry “Sean” Nelson.

She was a student at Summerton Early Childhood Center in Summerton.

TaSeana leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Tarran “Shay” Lawson of the home; father, Harry “Sean” Nelson of Summerton; two brothers, J’ Kwon Nelson and Ny’ Geria Nelson both of the home; one sister, SaRiyah Nelson of the home; her maternal grandparents, Lou Ellen Lawson of Summerton and David Felder of Summerton; her paternal grandparents, Essie Nelson of Long Island, N.Y. and Harry Andrews of Summerton; maternal great-grandparents, Gertie Mae Riley of Summerton and Robert Lee Riley of Summerton; paternal great-grandparent, Sarah Nelson of Summerton; three aunts, Jennifer Lawson of Summerton, Tawanda Richards of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Jennifer Fredricks of Bronx, N.Y.; three uncles, Sandy Lawson and Dominee Lawson both of Summerton and Jermaine Nelson of Brooklyn, N.Y. and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church, Summerton.  

Reverend Dr. William T. Johnson, Pastor officiating. Final resting place will be the church cemetery.

TaSeana will be placed in the church for viewing at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012.

Visitation for Taseana will be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Dysons Home for Funerals on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012.

The family is receiving friends at the home, 1096 Oliver James Road, Davis Crossroads Community, Summerton.
