Susan McCoy Moore Hamilton

Susan McCoy Moore Hamilton, 86, wife of Raymond Leroy “Ray” Hamilton, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at her son’s home in Murrells Inlet.

Born June 5, 1926, in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Moses James Moore and the late Flora Edens Moore. She was a homemaker and she attended Calvary Bible Church in Sumter.

She is survived by her husband of Sumter; a daughter, Beth Hamilton Klimek of Murrells Inlet; two sons, Alan Ray Hamilton of Murrells Inlet and Mark Leroy Hamilton (Ellen) of Paxville; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, in Manning Cemetery with Rev. Rodney Howard and Rev. Marion Zeigler officiating.

Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Stephens Funeral Home in Manning and other times at the residence, 1780 Mellette Road, Sumter.
