Stolen golf cart returned

On Aug. 2, Clarendon County Sheriff’s Sgt. J.W. Jenkinson received a phone call from a resident of Wyboo Avenue in reference to a golf cart found in their garage. Invs. Lin Ham and Mason Moore responded to the scene. The investigators took the golf cart to several homes in the Wyboo Avenue area looking for an owner. One homeowner gave them the name of a possible owner. When contacted, the woman told the officers she would secure the golf cart when she got home from work. The golf cart is valued at $1,000.
