Season’s over for Swampcats

Laurence Manning lost big in the first round of the SCISA Class AAA playoffs to a strong Hammond team, 44-7, Friday night in Columbia.

Friday night’s game marked the second time in four weeks that LMA has lost to Hammond. On Oct. 17, LMA lost to Hammond, 38-7, in Columbia.

The Swampcats end their season at 5-7 while the Skyhawks improve to 10-1 and move on to play in the semi-finals against the winner of the Augusta Christian-Ben Lippen game.
