S’ton now accepting online payments
Live in Summerton and don’t feel like making a trip to Town Hall to make a payment?
Well, your life may have gotten just a bit easier. The Town of Summerton has revamped their website to include online payments for water and sewer. This also allows for online payments of traffic tickets.
Residents will also have access to the text of different ordinances.
To make a payment, go to http://townofsummerton.com/. On the side menu scroll to billings. Under billings there are two options in bold and underlined: Traffic Ticket Payment or Water Bill Payments. A click on either of the options will take you to an online payment form through SC.GOV. After you have filled out the form and clicked submit, you will be taken to a payment page, where you will enter credit card information to make a payment.
Any electronic payments received after 4 p.m. will be posted on the next available business day.
For those that still would like to make payments the traditional way, they can send them to Summerton Water Department, P.O. Box 217, Summerton, S.C. 29148. Water bills can be paid in advance by cash, cashier’s check, money order, electronic check, Visa or MasterCard, personal checks or automatic bank drafting.
Traffic ticket payments should be sent to the Summerton Municipal Court, P.O. Box 279, Summerton, S.C. 29148 Tickets can also be paid in advance by cash, cashier's check, money order, Visa or MasterCard. Personal checks or ATM transactions are not accepted.
