Purse stolen from Wal-Mart shopping cart

Manning Police Dept.

On Nov. 20, Manning Police Ptl. Thomas Huckaby responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a stolen purse.

Huckaby arrived and spoke to a woman who said she and her daughter had come out of Wal-Mart and were placing groceries in their vehicle. On their way across the parking lot to order supper, they remembered they had neglected to take their purse from the shopping cart. When they arrived, it was missing.

The purse was a brown Jessica Simpson bag with wooden beads. The bag and contents are valued at $402. Loss Prevention at Wal-Mart looked at video surveillance but could not see much. The woman was told to notify credit card companies and banks that her cards were stolen.
