Nina Carr Kellenbenz

Nina Carr Kellenbenz, 91, widow of Elmer Charles Kellenbenz, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at her home in Summerton.

Born Jan. 12, 1921, in Davidsonville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Charles Benjamin Carr and the late Annie Roberta Clark Carr. She was a homemaker and a member of Santee Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis C. Kellenbenz and wife Linda of Bishopville and Donald Glenn Kellenbenz and wife Jane of Summerville; a brother, Maurice T. Carr of Davidsonville, Md.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with Mr. Glenn Kellenbenz officiating.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at Stephens Funeral Home.

Burial will be held at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery in Annapolis, Md.
