Other Clarendon County football teams were in action Friday night and some won while some lost.
The Manning Monarchs defeated Crestwood 36-15 after four years at being at the other end of that stick.
MHS scored six points in the first quarter but opened their playbook in the second and scored 16 points for a 22 halftime lead.
William Dingle scored three touchdowns for the Monarchs and Marcos Pearson and Darius Hammett each had one.
“It was a good win for our program,” said head coach Robbie Briggs. “I am impressed with our offensive line.”
Manning will travel to Berkeley this week.
SBHS beats
Burke, 62-14
Scott’s Branch got into the win column after a 62-14 demolishing of Burke.
Traven Parker was the leading ball carrier as he rushed for 126 yards on 26 carries.
Shaiim Smith was next with 78 yards on four carries, Leon Mathis followed with 76 yards on eight carries and Everett Rendell tallied 64 yards on nine carries.
Rendell, Parker and Smith each scored two touchdowns and Jerrell Adams, Leon Mathis and Quinton Banks each scored once.

LMA defeats
Pinewood Prep, 28-10
Laurence Manning Academy improved to 4-0 on the season following a 28-10 win over Pinewood Prep Friday evening.
Ryan McNair scored the first touchdown for the Swampcats in the first quarter on a one-yard run.
Reco Simms scored from five yards out in the second quarter and Pinewood Prep kicked a field goal as time expired. LMA led 14-3 at the break.
Doug Flowers returned a punt 63 yards for a touchdown.
In the fourth quarter, Pinewood Prep scored a touchdown to come within 21-10 but later in the quarter, Joey Brunson scored from 17 yards away to clinch the 18-point victory.
“The running game’s doing pretty good right now,” said Head Coach Ken Kellahan.
Laurence Manning Academy will host Augusta Christian this week.
Saints fall to
Laurens, 54-32
The Clarendon Hall Saints came out on the losing end of a 54-32 score against Laurens.
Wayman Hall was the leading rusher with 117 yards of 18 carries and scored three touchdowns.
Justice Beach followed with 59 yards on 11 carries and one score.
Cameron Cogdill had 23 yards rushing on three carries but also had 91 yards on kickoff returns and one touchdown.
Jacob Corbett rushed for 40 yards on eight carries and had a two-point conversion.
Hunter Hodges was 4-of-11 passing for 53 yards.
Trey Fleming and Sean Nettles each had six tackles.
Clarendon Hall will travel to play James Island Christian this week.
