Mark Patrick Weaver

Mark Patrick Weaver, 54, husband of Marion Lee Weaver, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at his home in Sumter.

Born July 8, 1958, in Jamestown, N.Y., he was the son of Eileen O’Dell Weaver and the late Edward Irving Weaver. He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and a member of the Professional Golf Association.

He is survived by his wife and mother, both of Sumter; a brother, Matthew Weaver of Columbia; four sisters, Sondra Suarez (Rick), Anne Weaver and Mary O’Dell, all of Irmo, and Karen Bailey of Sumter; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Jack.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, in the chapel of Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home, 515 Miller Road, Sumter, with Rev. Thomas Burke, C.Ss.R. officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 23, at the residence, 221 Mason Croft Dr., Sumter.
