Man arrested for shoplifting at Walmart

On May 5, Manning Police Cpl. Willie Gay along with other officers received a call from Walmart in reference to a shoplifter in the store.

Loss Prevention said they were currently following a black male. He entered the store wearing an orange shirt and began walking around the store. LP saw the subject take off his orange shirt and take the tag off another shirt and put it on. He exited the store and was caught by Loss Prevention. He was later arrested for shoplifting and issued a no trespass warning for Walmart and taken to the Clarendon County Detention Center.
