Lorine Tidwell Branson Broadway

Lorine Tidwell Branson Broadway, 86, wife of Thomas W. Broadway, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, at her home in Manning.

Born in Lee County, she was a daughter of the late James Roland Tidwell and Janie Outlaw Tidwell.

Mrs. Broadway was a member of Paxville Baptist Church.

She was twice married, first to the late Robert Gene Branson.

Surviving are her husband of Manning; three daughters, Carol A. Bruce, Linda B. (Jack) Chazen of Sumter and Roberta B. (Gary) Lesh of Wilmington, N.C.; a brother, Eugene Tidwell of Lexington; two sisters, Eula Walker of Sumter and Jennie Farmer of Covington, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Clifford H. Brookshire and a daughter, Jackie L. Brabham.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.. Friday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Mosier and Rev. Jimmy Casey officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
