LeDella Parker Hodge, 75, widow of Edgar ONeil Hodge Sr., died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 14, 1937, in Lake City, she was the daughter of the late Morris Billy Parker and the late Maggie Ann DuBose Parker. She was a retired seamstress and she attended Restoration Ministries and Trueway Holiness Church.
She is survived by three sons, Edgar ONeil Hodge Jr. (Diane), Terry Dale Hodge (Janet) and John Billy “Rusty” Hodge, all of Manning; three brothers, Hoyt Parker of Sumter, Morris Orell Parker and Elvin Troy “Toby” Parker, both of Manning; two sisters, Vileta Miller of Florence and Dezaree Clayton of Manning; four grandchildren, Teresa Scurry (Steven), Terry Dale Hodge II, Tracie Oliver (Tony) and Kasey Ellis (Peggy Jean), all of Manning; five great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Julie Franklin of Manning; and three step-daughters, Rachel, Brigett and Ellen.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wardell Parker, and a sister, Joyce Hodge.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with Rev. Perry Deal officiating. Burial will follow in Foreston Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Scurry, Terry Hodge, Scottie Burroughs, Kasey Ellis, William Shepard, Reggie McCarthy and Kevin McCutcheon.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 5823 Liberty Church Rd., Manning.
