Larry Robert Eason

Larry Robert Eason, 51, husband of Danya Renee Burch Eason, died Sunday, June 17, 2012.

Born Jan. 24, 1961, in Wauchula, Fla., he was the son of the late Sonny Abe Eason and the late Allene Thelma Stallings Brooks. He was construction superintendent for Carolina Engineering and Conveyors, and attended Lake Marion Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife of Summerton are stepmother, Betty Eason of Two Egg, Fla.; a son, Cody Eason of Summerton; three daughters, Shannon Eason of Leesville, Nikki Eason Jeffcoat of St. Matthews and Becky Eason of Summerton; four brothers, Roger Eason (Marilyn) of Blackshear, Ga., Jerry Eason (Carol) of Vance, Paul Eason (Linda) of Summerton and Johnny Eason (Brenda) of Pelion; a sister, Joyce Dixon (Richard) of Hilliard, Fla.; two grandchildren, Heather Baldwin and Austin Eason; two stepsisters, Kim Hamilton (Donnie) of Two Egg, Fla. and Kelli Standland of Marianna, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, June 21, 2012, in the Clarendon Hall Gymnasium in Summerton, with the Reverend Larry Kennedy officiating, assisted by the Reverend Gene Ball. Entombment will follow at a later date in Gooch’s Family Cemetery in Summerton.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at Stephens Funeral Home in Manning, and at other times at the residence, 1115 Danya’s Drive, Summerton.
