Lanette Glenn Pringle Taylor, 44, wife of Andrew Taylor, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, in Manning.
She was the biological daughter of Jimmy Thames and Eva Pringle Frierson and the stepdaughter of Letty Thames, and daughter of the late Willie James Frierson, and reared by her grandparents, Annie Ruth Pringle and the late Matthew Pringle.
She was a graduate of the Manning High School Class of 1984 and attended Central Carolina Technical College.
At an early age she accepted Christ as her Savior and joined Goodwill Freewill Baptist Church, where she served on the Junior Choir and Usher Board.
Survivors are grandmother who reared her, Annie R. Pringle, and mother, Eva P. Frierson, both of Manning, and father Jimmy (Letty) Thames of Bridgeport,Conn.; her husband, Andrew Taylor of Columbia; a son, Taquarius Pringle and a daughter Kishanna Pringle of the home; five sisters, Norma F. Smiling of Manning, Tonya Frierson of Aiken, and Leeshika, Annette and Emily Thames, all of Bridgeport; a brother, Willie Thames of Bridgeport; 23 additional sisters and brothers; paternal grandmother, Sarah Thames of Manning; 15 aunts; three uncles; and a grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Goodwill Freewill Baptist Church in Manning, with Elder Renel Trevol, pastor, presiding, the Rev. Dr. Michael Richburg, eulogist, assisting Minister Arkus Frierson.
Burial was held in the churchyard cemetery.
Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning was in charge of the arrangements.
