Lady Monarchs crush Jaguars

As the Monarchs’ baseball team was having its way with the Kingstree Jaguars, the Lady Monarchs’ softball team was doing the same with the Lady Jaguars.

A barrage of hits, coupled with errors and aggressive base running, propelled Manning to a 17-1 triumph over their league foe.

The win improved MHS’s overall record to 5-1 and 2-1 in league match-ups.

Coach Lori Johnson’s squad traveled to Andrews last Tuesday and returns home on Friday to battle Hanahan.
