Juvenile assaulted

On Feb. 1, Manning Police Cpl. Tommy Burgess and Ptl. Cam Welsh responded to Alfred Henry Drive in reference to two older juveniles assaulting a 10-year-old. The complainant told officers her son was assaulted in the playground area of their apartment complex. The woman told officers her son received injuries to his left wrist and left shoulder.
