Julia Margaret Ridgill Reardon Richburg

Julia Margaret Ridgill Reardon Richburg, 88, widow of Flagler Richburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning.

Born July 19, 1923, in Manning, she was the daughter of the late Richard Leslie and Sheldonia Alice Smoak Ridgill. She was a member of Manning First Baptist Church. She devoted her life to her family, which was her greatest joy. She was first married to the late Perry L. Reardon.

Surviving are a son, David Flagler Richburg and wife Linda of Manning; three daughters, Barbara Jean Bradham and husband Bobby of Charleston, Judy Wilson and husband Stan of Manning and Diane Champion and husband Jeff of Sumter; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home in Manning, with the Reverend Tom Vassar officiating, assisted by Reverend Nick Erickson. Burial will follow in Manning Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers will be Robert Bradham, Todd Champion, John Ridgill, John Morse, Bobby Richburg and David Leslie Ridgill.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at Stephens Funeral Home and at other times at the residence of her son, 4553 Paxville Hwy, Manning.
