James “Tuder” Miller

James “Tuder” Miller, 73, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at Sumter Health & Rehabilitation Center, Sumter. He was born April 10, 1938, in Manning, a son of the late Russell Miller and Hattie Fleming Miller.

Survivors are two daughters, Lila Mae Miller and Clarissa (James) Brunson; two sons, Ronald (Rosetta) McKenzie and Donald (Starline) McKenzie; mother of his children Dorothy Miller, all of Sumter.

Funeral services were held at noon Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Olden Chapel U.M.E. Church, Sumter. Rev. Roger Mullins, pastor, Rev. Mary J. Ragin, assisting.

Burial followed in Howard Chapel A.M.E. Church Cemetery, New Zion.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, James and Clarissa M. Brunson, 19 Rainey Lane, Sumter.
