The Hands of Grace Ministry at the historic Liberty Hill AME Church in Summerton, has been busy creating lap blankets, shawls, caps and baby blankets for needy individuals across Clarendon County. On Friday, Feb. 3, they delivered 60 blankets and four shawls to the residents of Windsor Manor Nursing Home in the Silver Community. Donations had already been made to Lake Marion Nursing Home as well as in the community. The Hands of Grace Ministry meets from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., on the first and third Friday of each month at the church. For more information, contact Maguirite De Laine at 505-6062.
