George Albert Ross Jr.

George Albert Ross Jr., 45, died July 17, 2012, in Clarendon County. He was born April 28, 1967, in Manning, a son of Annie Bell Wallace Ross and the late George Albert Ross Sr. and step-father Alvin McCray.

He attended the public schools of Clarendon County and was a student bus driver for Manning High school.

He was employed at Trippe A of Sumter and Bill Brewer Pallet of Manning.

Survivors are his mother Annie Bell Ross; step-father Alvin McCray; two sons Antwan Witherspoon and Tazuan Dorsett; three daughters Ja’vaige Dorsett, La’vaige Dorsett and Isha’nae Dinkins; one sister Ann (Nelson) Shannon; one brother Bernell Ross (Tricia); two grandchildren, five aunts three uncles.

Services will be held Sunday, July 22, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Hayes F. & LaNelle J. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel 114 North Church St. Manning.

Burial will follow in Manning Cemetery, Manning.

Rev. Jonathan Mouzon, officiating, Rev. Effie D. Hilton, assisting.

The family is receiving friends at 430 West Huggins St., Manning.
