Estell Robinson Pompey, 63, wife of Freddie Pompey Jr. died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital, Manning. She’s the daughter of the late Joe Lee and Joella Synder Robinson. She was born Feb. 14, 1949, in the Foreston section of Manning.
She received her formal education at Manning Training School. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and Join Upon This Rock Church Ministries Greeleyville.
She was employed with Play School for 20 years and retired from ITT Industrial Processing Lancaster, PA after 18 years.
Survivors are her husband Freddie Pompey Jr. one son Freddie Pompey III two grandchildren, Ebony Pompey and Tyquan Osborne; five sisters, Francenia (Sammie) Woods, Jackqulynn (Emanuel) Pompey and Vernell (Louis) Pompey all of Greeleyville; Viree Robinson of Florence; and Bettie (Louis) Hilton of Manning; four brothers, Pastor Harry (Pearl Ann) Robinson Sr., Arthur (Stella) Robinson both of Manning; and Rickie (Diane) Robinson of Summerton; four sisters-in-law Sarah Lee Robinson, Lillian (Ivory) Brown and Julia (Simon) Wallace all of Lancaster, Pa.; and Sylinda Rogers of Greeleyville; six brothers-in-law Louis (Vernell) Pompey, Willie (Catherine) James both of Greeleyville; Lee Edward Pompey of Moncks Corner; Henry Lee (Ida) Pompey, General Lee (Tonya) Pompey and James (Lacreisha) all of Lancaster, Pa.
Remains will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012. Service will be held at 11 a.m. at Upon This Rock Church Ministries. Greeleyville.

Burial will follow in Junky yard Cemetery in Manning.
