Emma Lee Stone Rhame, 92, widow of Thomas Boyd Rhame, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at East Cooper Medical Center in Mount Pleasant.
Born March 15, 1918, in Paxville, she was a daughter of the late Ethan Allen and Viola Rhame Stone. She was a member of Paxville Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Judith R. Fell and her husband, Robert L., of Mount Pleasant; a son, Thomas Boyd Rhame Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Columbia; four grandchildren, Jason Rhame Fell, Nathan Dolen Fell, Courtney Stone Kort and Christian Cannon Rhame; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Paxville Baptist Church with the Revs. Gene Mosier, Tom Vassar and Richard Hudson officiating. Burial followed in Paxville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John H. “Jay” Lewis III, Lloyd Rhame, Wade McLeod, Al Harris Jr., Charles “Buck” Ingram and John H. Lewis Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Marion S. Riggs, Carey Turner, Earldine Brown and Jimmy Brunson.
