East Clarendon High School Varsity girls are 1-6 after three weeks of season play.
On Dec. 6, they notched their first victory of the season, in a close matchup at home against Johnsonville.

Leading scorers were Ty’Quasha Kennedy with nine points, D’onna McFadden with eight points, and Latisha Wells with six points. Shameka Jackson had four points, Mica McFadden and Alexus Watford had three each, and Kelsey Shaw had two points.
On Dec. 8, they lost at home against Kingstree High School.

Wells led with four points, Kennedy had three, Watford had two, and Shaw had one.
On Dec. 9 they lost at home against Manning.

D’onna McFadden led with eight points and Heidi Matthews and Kennedy had seven points each. Kelsey Shaw, LaDiamond Shaw and Jennifer Melton had two points each.
On Dec. 13, they faced a tough loss at Kingstree.

Their next two matchups will be away at Manning on Jan. 3, and away at C.E. Murray on Jan. 10. On Jan. 13, they are at home against Scott’s Branch High School.
