The Clarendon County Narcotics Task Force is asking for assistance in locating three individuals wanted on various drug charges:

Emmanuel Dewitt Morant, 21, with a last known address on Mack Road in Summerton is wanted on one count of distribution of crack cocaine

Harry Desean Nelson, 35, with a last known address on Hall Street in Summerton is wanted on two counts of distribution of crack cocaine, two counts of distribution of crack cocaine within ½-mile of a park or school and one count of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance

Christopher Polite, 23, with a last known address on Waynes Drive in Manning is wanted on two counts of distribution of marijuana-second offense.

The CCNTF conducted Operation Summer Slammer on July 27, arresting four individuals on drug charges.

Jason L. Gadson, 25, of Summerton was arrested on one count of distribution of a controlled substance. He was released from the Clarendon County Detention Center later that same day on a $3,120 personal recognizance bond.

Terry Mack, 33, of Summerton was arrested on one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana within ½-mile of a park of school. Mack was released from the CCDC the next day on a $1,000 surety bond.

Melanie Valerie Mason, 50, of Manning was arrested on two counts of distribution of crack cocaine. She remains in the CCDC on a $5,000 cash bond or $10,000 surety bond.

Elease Joanne Taylor, 40, of Summerton was arrested on one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana within ½-mile of a park of school.
“Our officers are going to continue to follow up on any information we receive
from our citizens,” said Clarendon County Sheriff Randy Garrett. “If they sell drugs, we’re going after them. Those who sell, they are our targets.”
