DaVonna Whack

DaVonna Whack, 25, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Kindred Hospital, Charleston. She’s the daughter of David and Shirley Fleming Whack. She was born Jan. 1, 1987, in Manning.

In her youth, she attended church with her parents.

She received her formal education in the public schools of Clarendon County.

She attended Columbia College, received her Associate Degree as a Paralegal from Midlands Technical College and was presently enrolled at the USC School of Law.

DaVonna was employed as a paralegal for Russel Brown Associates.

Survivors are her parents, David and Shirley Fleming Whack; two sisters, Yolander Fleming and LaShaundra Whack; one brother, James Fleming; sevens uncles and two aunts.

The celebratory services for DaVonna Whack will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Grace Cathedral Ministries, 60 Oswego Hwy, Sumter with Aposotle Sammie Smith, Officiating; assisted by Pastor Anthony Gibson, Elder M. Clemmons, Brother Lynn Fleming and Pastor A. L. Hill. Miss Whack will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Burial will follow in the Whack Cemetery Kingstree Hwy. Manning.

The family is receiving friends at the home, 6692 Tobias Road, Manning.
