Camden Post 17 banged out 16 hits in a slugfest over Manning-Santee Juniors on June 22 in Manning, 12-9.
Post 68 carried a 3-0 lead into the third inning, but Camden drew within 3-2 with both runs scoring on wild pitches with runners at third base.
The home team stretched their advantage to 6-2 with three runs in the bottom of the inning. Davis Martin and Robbie Page had RBI hits to spark the rally.
But Post 17 showcased its hitting talent with seven runs in the top of the fourth.
Camden used seven base hits, a walk, and a sacrifice to fuel the damage.
M-S struck back for two runs in the bottom of the inning and tied the contest with a single tally in the fifth.
Camden reclaimed the upper hand, however, scoring once in the sixth and twice in the seventh to seal the victory.
Every Manning-Santee hitter collected at least one hit on the night with five batters contributing two. Robbie Heathcott banged out two hits, scored two runs and drove in a pair. Davis Martin added a pair of singles, scoring once and knocking in three.
Monday night Post 68 hosted a doubleheader with South Florence.
