Addison Rae Taylor

Addison Rae Taylor, age five, beloved daughter of Amanda Robertson and George Taylor died on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Palmetto Health Richland.

Addison was born on Aug. 13, 2006, she was a kindergartner at Laurence Manning Academy who was full of life. She was a free spirit and wild flower, kind hearted and loved by all. She loved the outdoors and really loved to swim in the lake. She loved to sing and was a mini cheerleader; she loved all animals but especially her two dogs Bear and Jax. She loved to give power hugs and will be remembered as a loving daughter, granddaughter and friend.

Surviving in addition to her parents are a sister, Cayla Breaan Smith; maternal grandparents, Harmon and Debbie Geddings of Manning and Ray and Renee Robertson of Hendersonville, N.C. and great-grandparents Bill and Betty Bright of Sumter.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Charles R. and Beverly Jo Taylor; great-grandparents, Ray and Elisabeth Robertson, H.M. and Dot Geddings and Billy and Alice Holcombe; a cousin Timothy Arron.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at 3 p.m. at the Providence Baptist Church, 2445 Old Manning Road, Sumter with the Rev. Graham Patton Bochman officiating. Burial will follow in the Sumter Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Dustin Avery, A. J. Jackson, Daniel Jackson, Ryan Still and Caleb Welch.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. at Bullock Funeral Home and other times at the home of Terry Welch and Judy Still.

Memorials may be made the Addison Taylor Fund in care of Safe Federal Credit Union, 1970 McCrays Mill Road, Sumter, S.C. 29150.
