AC unit stolen

On July 23, Manning Police Cpl. Alexander Dukes responded to Sunset Drive in reference to a stolen AC unit. The complainant told Dukes that he left his business for a short time and when he returned, he noticed that the office was warm. A short time later, a Manning man came by and told the complainant that he saw a dark gray single cab Nissan truck with two white males at the business. The 3-ton Trane unit was valued at $3,000. Damage to the building was estimated at $300.
