$5,000 in copper stolen

On May 26, Clarendon County Sheriff’s deputy Danny Graham responded to Bethune Road in Manning in reference to stolen copper. The complainant told Graham that someone cut a hole into the fence and stripped the meter box of all the copper. Copper was also stolen out of the conduit pole. The value of the stolen copper was estimated at $5,000.
