On June 20, Manning Police Lt. Allen Lee Jr. and Det. Cpl. Eric Rosdail observed a criminal informant enter a convenience store on Boundary Street. The underage informant allegedly purchased one can of Grizzly snuff from the clerk. The officers entered the store and found the $20 bill used to make the transaction inside the clerk’s front pants pocket. The clerk, Pinakin Patel of Manning, was arrested and charged with selling tobacco to a minor.
