$1,000 in copper stolen

On May 28, Clarendon County Sheriff’s deputy Casey Barrineau responded to St. Paul Road in reference to copper theft. The complainant told Barrineau that when he arrived at the cellular tower site that someone had cut the lock off the gate at the base of the tower and copper wiring was stolen from the breaker boxes. The value of the stolen copper was estimated at $1,000.
